Events 2012
This section will be updated after the first committee meeting in March with details of all of the events.
As a guideline, we have:
Committee meetings in March (22nd) and September;
The roller day pre-season (April) to prepare the square for the summer;
A couple of pre-season work parties (April) to make sure everything is working before we start playing;
A nibbles evening early season (April/May) to meet the new players and encourage participation at work parties;
A quiz night (May/early June), always popular - questions by the Cripps Clan this year;
Race night (mid-season) organised by the Olivers - a great success in recent years;
End-of-season work parties (early October) to touch up the Clubhouse and repair the square for the winter;
The Club dinner in October/November where the awards are handed out and the dance floor doesn't need repolishing afterwards;
The AGm (November) where new committee members can be selected.
