OK, so you've seen the site and now you'd like to join the club.

We welcome all players, regardless of standard. You don't even need to be available every week, as long as you are eager to play cricket and are as interested in the social aspect as the cricket-side of things! For insurance reasons, members must be over the age of 14 but this is about the only restriction we have in place.
We believe we are by far the lowest-cost Club around, because we keep our costs low by doing as much of the work as possible ourselves. If you compare our fees with any other local clubs, you'll soon see the benefits of this!
In recent seasons, our new members have included those who've:
- never played before, but enjoyed the Ashes on TV (in 2005...)
- not played for a long time, but are eager to get back into it
- just returned to the UK after working overseas
- become fed up with the seriousness of their old club
- recently moved to the area and want to meet local families
If you're reading this in the off-season, then come along to nets on Sunday mornings. The nets for 2012 start on Sunday 8th January 10-11am at Herts Sports Village (University of Hertfordshire) in Hatfield. Details here
Prospective new players are encouraged to contact us before attending, just so we know to expect you. We have club kit at every nets session so if you don't have any pads then don't let that put you off!
If you want to play games for us, you'll need to be registered on the availabilities website (see link in the right-hand bar) - if you're already registered then please update your availabilities as far as you can into the season, if you're not yet registered, email Rich (see contacts page, link to the left) to get started!
